The Pharmacy Council of Nigeria, established by PCN (Establishment) Act 2022, is a Federal Government Agency charged with the responsibility of regulating and controlling pharmacy education, training and practice in all aspects and ramifications, including regulating Pharmacy Technicians and Patent and Proprietary Medicines Vendors (PPMVs). The PCN’s mission is to regulate pharmacy practice, promote excellence in pharmacy education and training, and ensure high quality pharmaceutical production and care to the public through effective monitoring, inspection, enforcement, and implementation of relevant healthcare policies.
